Hailing from Guatemala, singer Ricardo Arjona has developed a unique style of confessional songwriting that brings him close to other Latin pop luminaries such as Pablo Milanes, Silvio Rodriguez, and Joan Manuel Serrat. In 1998, during the tour to promote the excellent album SIN DANOS A TERCEROS, Arjona decided to record a couple of performances in his native country for a live album that would capture the audience's highly emotional response to his music.
