Producing Adults

Part-drama/part-comedy, the feature film debut of Finnish director Aleksi Salmenpera examines the complexities of contemporary relationships. Speed skater Antero and psychologist Venla consider their long-term union to be a modern and healthy one. However, as the topic of having children rears its ugly head, the couple starts to feel the strain of their conflicting opinions on the issue. As Antero makes it clear that he will not sacrifice his career for the sake of a family, Venla is forced to reexamine her options and her real goals for the future.
