Rendered in vividly colorful animation, the series followed the action-packed adventures of brothers Mario and Luigi, two Italian plumbers from Brooklyn who get zapped into a magical Mushroom Kingdom, where they battle to save the lovely Princess Toadstool and defeat the evil King Koopa.
