Allied Telesyn's new AT-MC300 family of high-speed media converters allow network managers to cost-effectively convert 100Base-TX connections to 100Base-FX quickly and reliably. Three new connector types are utilized to maximize conversion options and network design flexibility. These are the: VF-45 (AT-MC301), MT-RJ (AT-MC302) and LC (AT-MC303) fiber-optic connectors. The new media converters feature Plug-and-Play installation and a compact chassis design enabling the AT-MC300 family to be used in a wide variety of networking environments.
