LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) cast even, white light that's good for close-in lighting; nearly indestructible LEDs drastically improve battery life. Metal bale lets you carry the lantern with two fingers or hang it inside a tent or outside from a branch. Rubber sleeve enhances durability and easy, comfortable gripping. Three swing-out legs increase stability; open or close one leg and the other two follow suit.
